Our magnificent New England coast is a constant draw for those looking for beauty, charm, nostalgia and the, not to be missed, drama of the ever changing Atlantic Ocean. We are off to explore her seaside villages, colonial sea captain’s homes, artist colonies and enjoy the fabulous seafood! We are going to bring summer to a close with a visit to two of New England’s most quintessential towns, beautiful Rockport, Massachusetts and one of Maine’s gems, Bar Harbor! Our Journey includes clam bakes, lobster bakes, river and ocean cruises, guided tours, that tell the stories of these mystical villages with, of course, time for relaxation at our carefully chosen hotels with amazing views and amenities. Rockport’s Bearskin Neck was originally home to our earliest Portuguese sailors whose simple cottages still stand and are ready to lure you into the New England shops and restaurants that they are today! A visit to fishing headquarters in this area, Gloucester, with stories of her role in “The Perfect Storm” and tales of beautiful Cape Ann will be shared before we head further north and find our way into Maine. We’ll arrive at the Atlantic Oceanside Resort and check into our balcony rooms overlooking spectacular Frenchman’s Bay! A stop in Bar Harbor MUST include the incredible Acadia National Park with an amazing tour guide who will share stories of the rich and famous who, in the past, have contributed to making this such a memorable and beautiful place. The coast is beckoning you, calling you, to join us on this amazing tour before summer is gone! Ready? Let’s Go! We look forward to sharing this Journey with you!
